FUNDING FROM NCBIR FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF GLOVEBOXES

We are starting the new year full of hope, because we are facing a challenging 2021. We finished the past by signing an agreement with the National Center for Research and Development as part of the Fast Track “Coronavirus” competition.

We proceed to the implementation of the PLN 5.2 million development project of the gloveboxes technology: “Hybrid insolator combining the features of a laminar flow and a high-safety gloveboxes with the possibility of performing operations in a robotic manner”.

Out of 89 submitted applications focusing on solutions dedicated to the spread of viruses (with particular emphasis on the SARS-COV-2 coronavirus), we were one of the 17 projects selected for funding.

CMOT – the new website launch

As previously announced, we have been working with our partners from Poland and Germany on the new generation graphene transistor electrodes. The CMOT programme has just launched its official website, which you can look up here: http://www.cmot.science/index.html. Graphene transistors are the score-breaking novelty that will lead to setting a whole new level of performance records in area of modern electronics and computer technology.

CMOT research programme and the new MOTFT graphene transistor

It has been a second month of us paricipating in the international CMOT research programme and study over the modified graphene  MOTFT transistor production technology development. The project is conducted within joint research programme M-era.Net and (Polish) National Centre of Research and Development – NCBiR. On the 9th and 10th of June, the 3D-nano founder and owner Krzysztof Skupień PhD., had an opportunity to meet all of the co-participants of the Technical University of Bochum, Wroclaw Research Centre EIT+, Evonik, Edgewave and LPKF. The kick-off meeting took place at the Technical University of Bochum in Germany.

Our proffesional 3D printers allows 3D rapid prototyping in FDM technology in order to develop new products and manufacturing technologies. Our printers can create high precision (Z positioning = 5 micron), large (305 x 205 x 210 mm) and durable models of any shapes.

3D-nano to buy a new lab device

The digital ultrasonic generator Hielscher UP200St-G&T is very effective in the homogenizing, dispersing, emulsifying, extracting and degassing of sample volumes from 0.1 to 2000 mL. For high volume production the device is equiped with a flow cell for continuous operation.

Dr. Skupień has joined a meeting of the Strategic Board with the Work Package Leaders of the Network of Excellence “FlexNet”. The role of the Strategic Board is to help direct the activities of FlexNet partners towards what is most beneficial for the field of organic electronics and the industrial exploitation of the research results in Europe.

The first intership at 3D-nano

Dr. Beata Paczosa Bator from AGH University of Science and Technology has started to collaborate with the 3D-nano team. She will be responsible for implementing the six months framework for the quality control in the company, and will draw on her academic experience.

The project called "Knowledge and practice - keys to business success" is co-financed by the European Union from the European Social Fund.

Malvern Club

3D-nano team on the Malvern Club Poland. The meeting was organized by A.P. Instruments in Uniejów. The main topic of the workshop was application of Dynamic Light Scattering technique to nanoparticles size measurements.

3D-nano took part in a project meeting within European Project entitled "RobustDSC". The meeting was orgazized by Fraunhofer ISE in Freiburg.

Subcontract

3D-nano and Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems (FhG-ISE) has signed a subcontractor agreement to collaborate in the development of catalytic nanomaterials for use in dye solar cells.The duration of the Agreement is 10 months commencing on Jan 1, 2010. 3D-nano will supply screen-printable pastes for counter electrodes in DSCs.
